I Need More Time to Rest – President Buhari
The President of the Federal
Republic of Nigeria Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday said that the results of the
series of medical checkups he carried out in the cause of his medical vacation
had shown that he need more time to rest. He said this made it necessary for him
to stay back in London, UK longer than initially planned. However, Nigerians
are yet respond to this latest development.
The PMB said this in a four paragraph
made available to journalists by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity,
Mr. Femi Adesina. Adesina did not
disclose how long the President’s longer period of rest will take. On the other hand thanked Nigerians for their
prayers and good wishes while assuring them that there is no cause for worry. The
statement read, “P M B thanks millions of Nigerians who have been sending good
wishes and praying for his health and well being in mosques and churches
throughout the country”. The President is greatly grateful for the prayers, show of love and concern.
But vkynews can authoritatively
report that many Nigerians are not very pleased with this information. In view
of the current situation in Nigerian, the president ought to have communicated
to Nigerians through telephone or Skype. Because the rumor of his death is
everywhere and he should have restore confident and trust to Nigerians. It is also
important to note that since he traveled for the medical check-up in United
Kingdom, Nigerians are expecting him to come back very soon due to the economic
recession. Unfortunately, the manner of this communication through his Media
Adviser Adesina Femi did not give much hope. Please like, share and follow!
