Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is only asking for freedom

Free Nnamdi KANU

I have observed carefully the way and manner the federal government of Nigeria led by General Mohammed Buhari is handling the case of the leader of the indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB). The recent arraignment of Mazi Nnamdi KANU in the federal high court Abuja and the seven-count charges against him is not only mere propaganda but also laughable. It seems that the Nigerian government has no case against Nnamdi KANU and should be released unconditionally. Having seen the way media personnel and lawyers were restricted access to the court premises and the courtroom left much to be desired.
However, the media briefing by the attorney general federation after the court case is another show of shame because all the allegations against Nnamdi Kanu is a complete falsehood The killings going on in the Southern part of Nigeria is being masterminded by government and politicians through DSS in order to blackmail IPOB, a peaceful mass movement.
Going forward, the response of the leadership of the indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB) to the attorney general of the federation Malami after his media briefing which indicates that the federal government is not willing to release Nnamdi KANU unconditionally has indeed increased the tension in Southeast once again because the group had declared one week Sit at Home if Federal government fail to release Nnamdi KANU on or before 4th of November
Therefore, I use this medium to urge the federal government of Nigeria to release Nnamdi KANU unconditionally and use political solution to resolve this agitation so as to save lives
